Working with your CA, CS & lawyer
Invite advisors into a scoped workspace so they see only the buckets they handle. Roles and permissions are enforced in the app, not by data-layer policies.
Compliance is a team sport: a founder, an internal finance person, and a mix of external advisors — a CA for tax, a CS for ROC, a lawyer for legal, a vendor for payroll. ComplianceStack brings them all into one scoped workspace.
Roles and scoping
Access is governed by roles and a permission matrix enforced in the app. An advisor invited for the Tax bucket sees tax tasks and tax evidence — not your legal contracts or payroll data. Owners and admins see everything; collaborators see only their buckets.
How advisors work in-system
- Requests, not chases — an advisor can request the documents they need; the request shows up as a task with an owner and a due date.
- Status they update — when your CA files a return, they move the item to filed and attach the acknowledgement as evidence.
- A shared source of truth — everyone sees the same calendar, so nothing falls between you and your advisor.
Tenancy & data isolation
Every record is scoped to your company. Roles decide what each member sees within it, so a provider who works with several of their clients on ComplianceStack only ever sees the company — and the bucket — they were invited to.
No advisor yet?
If you don't have a CA, CS or lawyer for something, you can request a vetted expert rather than leaving the obligation unowned.
